West End Specific Plan

The West End Specific Plan is located at the west end of the City of Fontana. The specific planning is approximately 1,296 acres. It is bounded on the west by East Avenue, on the north by the Southern Pacific Rail right-of-way above Baseline Avenue, on the east by Cherry Avenue and Hemlock Avenues, and on the south by Foothill Boulevard.

The northwest corner of the planning area is traversed by the Devore Freeway (Interstate 15), providing direct access to the site at Baseline Avenue. The boundary of the City of Fontana lies along the western and southern edges of the site. As such, the site represents an entrance to the City of Fontana from the west.

Additionally, the West End Specific Plan will have 22.1 acres of schools, 21.4 acres of flood control channels, 48.7 acres of major roadways, and 126.8 acres for parks, civic uses and other open spaces.
